Child's
If the bike is for a child, they generally fall into age categories based on the average size of a child of a specific age. There is no rule that says that you must buy a bike of a particular size for a child of a specific age. It is NOT recommended however that you buy a bike for your child to "grow into". This is not only very dangerous but also by the time they fit the bike they will probably want a new one.

If your child is aged 11 + then you are onto adult bikes. Adult bikes start to have bigger frames rather than wheels sizes. When this is the case you are best choosing a bike of a certain frame size to match the height of your child rather than the age they are. This gender of the child also determines the correct size. As we only specialize in boys bikes then we will just focus on these sizes. See below for details.

Men's Size Guide
Adult bikes generally have a wheel diameter of 26 inches regardless of what height you are. It is the size of the bikes frame you need to look at when choosing a bike to suit you best. It is important that you get the size of the frame correct as a matter of safety for the rider.
